And she brought me a gift and a trash magazine (which I of course don't read at all.. ;))!

Coconut scrub and shimmering lotion! Yay! Absolutely perfect since my other sparkly body butter just finished. Ah the small things in life.. ;)

And then Henke came home with this! I had went on and on about Rach's curling iron in NZ so now I finally got one of my own! :)

And then to the sad part. A small soft grey and yellow bird flew into our window and broke its wing. :'-( It just lay on the porch flapping its good wing whilst hardly moving. So we had to kill it. (WE?! - who am I kidding? Henke, had to kill it.) But I buried it. Henke looked at me like a complete alien when I said I was gonna bury it. "Throw it away." he said. WHAT? No way ray. The poor thing just came into this world and now it gets thrown in the trash?! I don't think so.
Said and done. Me and my little helper did the most beautiful box we could manage on short notice, lit a candle and said a prayer..

But unfortunately when it came to start digging down dead animals in the garden Henke was v e r y clear it wasn't gonna happen. Okey, so there had to be some sort of a compromise.
We buried the little fellow inside the trashbin eventually..

(I know it's not very common to attend funerals in only underwear eating ice cream, but my son sometimes just does not follow the norm.. ;))
Now wrestling with two-yearold in bed trying to exhaust him enough to fall asleep before us.. X-)
Let there be sleep. /Å
