Glamour-ISH evening..

Came home from the Sh'Bam module with lots of love and energy in the heart but unfortunately also a sore and hurting feeling in the throat.. Crap. Figured a hot shower and some food might help. The great thing was that reception had informed me that there was a door from my hotel corridor straight into the restaurant next door. Great, don't even have to get outdoor dressed, I thought. :) So after showering I jumped into my Nike sweats and woolen stockings and off I went. Soon felt a bit strange though. As I opened the door into the restaurant I ended up right in the middle of all the dining guests. Guests dressed up to their teeth! (Later found out that the most expensive bottle of wine on the menu was 5800SEK. Yup, definately a restaurant where one should be wearing shoes..) Oh lord.. Help?! Couldn't really just turn around and go back into the ....Oh great. It was the freaking fire exit door from the restaurant. Talk about a poor homeless (and shoeless!) person sneaking into the restaurant.. Embarassing? Nah, not at all... X-)

Asked for the menu and ordered a meal take away. Tried to order a glass of red wine with it, but nope. No can do. No drinks for take away. Oh, it's about legal rights and stuff about alcoholic drinks. No probs. I'll just have a green tea instead, I said. Nope. NO drinks for take away. Wtf? OK, fine. I'll just stay then. Is that really better?? Appearently it was. Before he took me to a table I did give him the chance to think twice though:

"Hey, seriously, look at me." I held my hands out to the side and looked down at myself.

"Yes?" He looked me straight in the eyes (and did not look all that amused to be honest).

"Look at my shoes. Or lack there of rather."

"Must be comfortable."

So half a minute later down I sat. Delicious meal a n d red wine a n d green tea came my way. Very happy bunny and throat feeling better. :) But I'd be lying if I'm saying I didn't get a LOT of attention walking through the restaurant. Maybe not in the way I'd wish but still. Care? Not for a second.

Now packing my bags and prepping for second day of dancing Sh'Bam with some really great people! <3
