Recipes!

Some of you have been requesting the recipes for the baking I've been devoting myself to lately, however this was more difficult than I thought trying to translate all foods and measurements.. :-/ Therefor I leave you only with links to the Swedish recipes and IF you wish than you can always ask a Swede near you for help OR - get out the good old dictionary and a large piece of patience.. ;) Carrot cake! Saffron buns! Chocolate sticky cake! A piece of good home made cake is so much better for the body than all the processed stuff to be found in stores. A healthy lifestyle is about finding balance. Enjoying the good in life and at the same time taking care of your body. It's your only one. <3 /Å

    Hey Asa! I found the recipe for chocolate sticky cake in English, if anyone is interested. It looks delicious. I am going to give it a try! http://allrecipes.com/recipe/swedish-sticky-chocolate-cake-kladdkaka/ I will let you know how it turns out! I have a dear German friend who tried to share recipes with me, and translating to Enlgish equivalents was tedious! I totally understand! The recipe for Saffron buns is also on this same site. Thanks for telling us what you were making. If you have a favorite swedish cookie recipe, I would love to know what it is. I can google the recipe for it as well! Hugs to you!! <3<3

      Wow! That's awesome! Yes please let me know how it turns out! :) One of my favourite treats are "chocolate balls" also called "cocoa balls" - in Swedish: "chokladbollar" or "kokosollar". And kids love them too! :)

      Well, I think they're really good, but have never tried making them so don't really know if hard to make?! Try if you want! :)
