Fun!

Love..

Cheekyness..

I can do it MYSELF! (Oh and look cool meanwhile.. ;))

And laughter. Again. :)

God really gave him the full range in positive thinking. And the ability of indulging in his own excitement and happiness. Tonight he walked around singing "Jippiiiie! Jippiie!!" over and over to celebrate the mere fact we decided we were going cycling tonight. But as I told him he had to lose the NY-cap in favour of the helmet he got a sudden frown upon his forehead: "Why?"
"Well you see Ebbe.." I said with a serious voice and explained a long story on the importance of wearing a helmet when biking and that of course I would wear one too etc etc. So after talking (probably a bit too much) about the sensitivity of the brain and what a concussion is (I got carried away) I finished with the punch line: "and in the very worst case - one could DIE." I said slowly nodding my head looking into the now wide open small blue eyes. Oh my, I thought to myself.. I so took this "lesson" too far. Darn. Well well, at least I'm sure this really sunk in.
Three seconds past. He looked away for a moment and the looked back at me asking: But mom, are we still going biking? I said yes.
"Jiiiiiiiiiippiiiiiiiieeee!!"

Kids. Gotta love 'em. ;)
